...that's how good it is.
I am hungry like almost all the time. But I don't eat a lot, I just always need something to bite. So what better to munch on between meals... yes! granola bars. Sometimes I bought the ones with banana and chocolate flavour at the store but always wanted to make one on my own. I could add whatever I wanted.
My friend Pia over at Joie de Vivre and Cupcakes and all of her granola recipes lately motivated me to make granola bars.
This is what I did:
I used the stuff I had at home at that moment so this is what I used:
I chopped almonds and dates, then mixed together all the ingredients. I can't say how much I used, I just went by the feeling. It depends on how much bars you want. I also put a lot of peanut butter and it was so delicious. Just keep in mind that peanut butter is the one that keeps other ingredients together.
So final step is to put the mixture in a square pan and push it down so they are not to high, then put it in the refrigerator for an hour. Now all you have to do is to cut them in squares and that's it! So simple you just have to do it! :)
