Yesterday afternoon I spent in a great cooking event in Ljubljana at Kongresni trg. Rudolph van Veen my favorite chef visited Ljubljana where he prepared three dishes (appetizer, main dish and dessert) in front of many people who came to see him.
For those who don't know who Rudoplh van Veen is he is the best chef from the Netherlands and many knows him by his TV shows and one of them is Rudolph's bakery (my favorite) on 24 Kitchen.
If you are reading my blog for a while now you know that I love baking pastries. I have posted a few recipes here on the blog so you can check them out. Here are a few of my favorites 1, 2, 3.
So to recap yesterday was one really nice and inspiring day. I love how Rudoplh talks about food and cooking, everything just looks so easy and fun. Another thing I love is that he always gives very useful tips like "don't keep your tomatoes in your fridge because it makes them flavourless" and other. It really makes you want to go to the kitchen and cook something delicious :)
Here are some of the pictures from yesterday (unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me so I took them with my phone), I already put a lot of them on Instagram so you could get a feeling what was going on.
Love how they dressed four guys to look like Rudolph :)
final dessert was made for everyone who came
he is SO nice and friendly. He made time to talk and listen to what people had to say and took pictures with them.
And finally me and Rudolph van Veen
I am so happy I got to meet him and see his cooking in person.
So my question for you is do you watch his TV shows? :)
Thank you so much for reading and have a lovely rest of the Sunday!
